Starbucks is reintroducing its popular reusable red cup giveaway, known as Red Cup Day, just in time for the holiday season. Starting Thursday, November 14, customers who buy a hot, iced, or blended holiday beverage of any size will receive a complimentary grande-sized red reusable holiday cup. This festive, limited-edition cup features a design adorned with red and white ornaments and is made from 95% recycled materials, according to a press release from Starbucks. The cups will be available at participating locations nationwide while supplies last.

Customers can later return to any Starbucks location with their reusable cup to enjoy a $0.10 discount on their next purchase, plus 25 bonus Stars for Starbucks Rewards members who order through the app. However, the Christmas Blend, Christmas Blend Blonde brew coffee, and all Starbucks Reserve beverages are excluded from this offer.
The return of the red reusable cup follows the launch of Starbucks’ 2024 holiday cups and menu, which made their debut on November 7. Kristy Cameron, Starbucks’ creative director, shared that this year’s cup designs were inspired by “genuine moments of joy,” aligning with the overarching holiday theme: “Merrier Together.” The four unique designs for the holiday cups are titled Warm Wishes, Joyful Connection, Lyrical Landscape, and Siren Chorus.
